Citizenship application finally done

Finally! Today I went for my appointment at Westminster council to hand in my application for citizenship. For a small fee they check that all your paperwork is correct and forward it to the home office but most importantly, they photocopy your passport and hand it back to you while the application is being considered.

Best £35 I ever spent, now to sit and wait. Oh yeah, I just found out that the application fee just went up from £300 to about £650 in April. I knew I should have applied ages ago! Curse this procrastination gene ;)
