So long Mickey Mouse watch

Okay I'll finally admit it. Grown men shouldn't really wear Mickey Mouse watches. It was bought for me by my dad about 10 years ago (picked out by me so I've got nobody to blame for the taste but myself) and is by far the longest I've ever owned a watch. It's not a genuine Mickey Mouse watch but the arms do move and it keeps excellent time. I chose it mostly for the joke but I think it's wearing thin after so many years :-P also the metal is scuffed on top and being eaten away underneath by something that is probably eating away at my wrist as well. It's been through a lot - even into a swimming pool (not water resistant) and has just kept on ticking... well with maybe one or two nudges over the years. Not bad for a R35 watch! That's about £3 or $5. I've bought another one so this one is going to be consigned to the bottom drawer from now on, maybe I'll put it in a box marked "precious things" one day.
