Audio Obscura continues to hold the throne of serving unique clubbing experiences in Amsterdam and beyond. Maybe you’ve been lucky enough to experience an infamous ‘Loft’ sunrise with selectors like Maceo Plex, or Tale of Us. This time, Audio Obscura has set out on one of its boldest feats to date: combining light art and sound into one symbiotic machine.

Instead of taking you to the 16th floor of the A’Dam tower, they’re transporting you into a brand new clubbing experience.

In collaboration with the pioneering organization behind the mind-bending light installation SKALAR.art, which holds a residency at the Gashouder from January 10 to February 5, Audio Obscura is taking the experience one step further by curating a club-night headlined by none other than Peggy Gou.

The Korean who is spearheading the dance scene with her dreamy, housey productions and high-energy DJ sets, will be accompanied by support acts, as well as a proper symbiotic performance of hypnotising custom live av techno set by Kangding Ray and light artist Christopher Bauder (the masterminds behind SKALAR).

The installation, previously held in the old electricity factory Kraftwerk Berlin, will give attendee’s the ultimate immersive experience. Peggy Gou is just the cherry on top we could have only dreamed of.
