Mel G Shows Off Versatility on Debut LP, The Light Brian ManningMonday, March 12, 2018Bass MusicReviews0 Comments Black Marble Collective is a rising record label out of the West Coast who have been quietly killing it the past year or so. With over 100 drops to date, they’re now back with another Teklife collaboration with New York DJ/Producer Mel G to release his first ever LP, The Light. On top of having a sick solo project, he also has another collaborative footwork project called Tripletrain, on top of running a monthly Brooklyn based event called Low Key where he’s had DJ sets from the like of DJ Spinn, DJ Earl, Slick Shoota, Traxman, Dave Q and various others in the cult underground scene. This project is a real piece of work, and I mean that in that in the best way. BMC impresses yet again, and they will actually be doing a limited press of vinyls for The Light LP by Mel G, so if you like what you hear and want to own a physical copy of this project click this link right now!
