That’s right, Yellow Shoots has joined forces with legendary Brooklyn rapper Skyzoo to create the mystifying sound of their new release, “Heaven”.

A tease of Yellow Shoot’s upcoming Stormy Weather EP, “Heaven” is a tantalizing taste of what we can expect of the full project. The gorgeous track is overflowing with ambient synths, soothing instrumentals, a velvety chorus, and the rhythmic stylings of Skyzoo. The melody alone will have you feeling like you’re wrapped in the fuzziest blanket on a chilly winter evening. This piece is easy on the ears but stimulating to the mind, with a message that speaks truth and provokes thoughtful insights.

Originally a composition for Nate Parker’s film “Birth of a Nation”, the lyrical component of  “Heaven” narrates the lack of empathy in society and the constant “squabbling of humanity” with captivating and raw emotion. The track will also be included on Yellow Shoot’s “Stormy Weather” EP that is set to debut in March of 2017.
