Pittsburgh’s Culture of Innovation and Tech is launching ‘Thrival Innovation Music Festival’; a brand new festival featuring obscure art exhibits featuring art installments from across the United States.

This festival will be kicking off the 20th of September and will go through the 24th at Pittsburgh’s Nova Place. Cutting-edge tech and art from around the United States will be featured in a 100,000 sq. ft. exhibit where you will be able to interact with the art and get demos of some of the installations. Thrival Innovation will be featuring speakshops during the day, innovation-focused programming, and panels by the leaders of the festival.

Formerly known as Alloy 26, the mall will be magically transformed into a beautiful wonderland of art installations. This area will also include the ‘Innovation Hall’ which will host numerous collaborations of experimental electronic music through smart devices. Innovation Hall will team up with the outdoor Innovation Playground which will include gnarly art cars. Another feature of this incredible area is a mobile office bus equipped with 3-D printing, laser engraving, and robotics.

“The debut of Innovation Hall and the Innovation Playground this year will take Thrival to an exciting new level — offering festival-goers and city residents alike a chance to experience some of th most dynamic art and tech from Pittsburgh and from around the country,” – Dan Law (Thrival’s Executive Producer)

But wait! This isn’t just an art festival! There will also be a diverse lineup for a two-day live outdoor music experience. Some artists playing at Thrival Innovation include The Chainsmokers, Ty Dolla $ign, CHVRCHES, Thievery Corporation, Metric, Sir The Baptist, Lettuce, and more!
