The Austin City Limits Music Festival is about to be rocked by the stellar selection of bands to play this year’s Broadcast Music Inc. stage. A diverse collection of emerging artists, the BMI stage will bring 24 outstanding musical groups to Texas this year. Held in Austin’s legendary Zilker Park, ACL is celebrating its 15th anniversary.

Weekend One will take place Sept. 30 to Oct.3, while Weekend Two will take place Oct. 7 to Oct. 9. The BMI stage will be hosting 12 acts per weekend of the festival. The BMI stage will be the first to open each day, presenting audiences with exposure to some of the industry’s rising talent.

A global leader in music rights management, BMI protects the public performance rights of over 10.5 million musical works created and owned by over 700,000 songwriters, composers, and music publishers. Due to their massive success, it’s no surprise that the BMI stage brings in high quality artists each year. This year’s artists will preform on stages beside BMI legends such as Willie Nelson, Schoolboy Q, and Corrine Bailey Rae.

BMI proudly sponsors stages at premiere events such as Lollapaooza and ACL Fest. in order to give their clients premium exposure opportunities.

Weekend one will showcase country-garage rocker Aubrie Sellers, indie singer Lucy Dacus, songstress Julien Baker, country powerhouse Maren Morris, rock ensemble Quaker City Night Hawks and many more.

Weekend Two hosts pop-folk singer Margaret Glaspy, country group LANco, patriotic pair The Roosevelts, indie electronica team Atlas Genius, Thai-funk triple threat Khruangbin, bluegrass aficionado Amanda Shires, as well as six others.
