Justin Jay & Friends have had an epic summer. Kicking it offthe season with the first single “Weatherman” off of Justin Jay’s debut album –Fantastic Voyage– the collective have had a star-studded run through a series of new singles and impressive performances. What started as an exploration of sound by combining indie rock with house music has turned into a full-blown creative outlet, using this summer as a platform to deliver some beautiful new tunes in a variety of formats through different labels. As the summer slowly approaches its end, so too does the Fantastic Voyage album, but not without one big, last track to take us to the tail-end of the season.

The final song off the album, “Broke The Law,” features JJ’s friends Sacha Robotti, Josh Taylor & Henry Was. Out via Dirtybird Records, this head-nodding masterpiece is filled to the brim with the best Dirtybird characteristics, ranging from hard-hitting percussion, fat bass funk, and soulful guitar rhythms. This track is the perfect tune to finish out the summertime season.
