Featuring ambient warm lighting, and the coolest damn saxophonist you’ve ever seen, OOKAY’s newest music video for his chart topper “Thief” is interesting all in its own.

OOKAY makes a smooth appearance in the video, delivering the vocals while amongst a group of couples dancing interpretively to the future sound. The use of a large studio space and the lighting within that was a unique approach when it came to the filming. People will often times rent out a studio space and film a single spotlight on a random wall. You can tell that there was real time and effort put into making sure the entire set looked perfect, lighting and all.

OOKAY’S obvious allusion to the acceptance of the LGBTQA community was another powerful part of the video. In the wake of an awful hate crime, the U.S. can also use a reminder that love is love and everyone should be accepted for who they are. OOKAY is simply reminding us with this video that nobody is different when it comes to love. Visually pleasing and melodious as well, “Thief” is another great piece of art from OOKAY.
