Kllo premiered “Bolide” just a month ago. Now with the release of “Walls To Build” off the Melbourne duo’s soon to be released EP, Well Worn, fans may listen to it joyfully on repeat until August 5th. I know I am.

Out via Ghostly International, Well Worn will realistically be a warm pop fused debut. Given the vibes from “Walls To Build,” we find ourselves as listeners in a groove of playfulness. Then we are charmed by Kaul’s vocals layered upon the simple yet effectively dancey beats.  The song actually took over 28 attempts to achieve completion according to an email correspondence between the group and FADER. When you combine that amount of tenacity with searing sounds, Kllo produces neat tracks.

And I’m glad to see Kllo obsessing over their music, because it not only shows that they care about what they produce at a deeper level, but also makes “reasons I can’t explain” resonate a little further on the track.

Kllo wrote to FADER saying that the song is “about fear of vulnerability.” Throughout the song this is definitely displayed through the lyrics and harmonies of the track.

This is a fantastic track and we can’t wait for Well Worn out on August 5th. Check it out below.
