It goes without saying that snagging the #1 spot on iTunes in over 55 countries can be a bit of a difficult endeavor. However, when it comes to German melodic house producer Felix Jaehn, it seems like anything is possible. After his revamp of OMI’s “Cheerleader” went viral last summer, the young artist has easily cemented his spot as one of the more elite producers in the field. In addition to his “Ain’t Nobody (Loves Me Better)” masterwork featuring vocalist Jasmine Thompson, Felix Jaehn has had no trouble in displaying his melodic house mastery through his numerous, impassioned singles and remixes that he’s released in the past year.

Proving that he doesn’t have to stick to just one genre to impress fans, Felix Jaehn has teamed up with Berlin-based producer Hitimpulse to create a blissed-out breakbeat banger. While Jaehn has demonstrated his talents in the melodic house sphere, the gloss on this new track speaks volumes about the artist’s production capacities. The duo’s track “Cut The Cord” employs thumping beats, catchy vocals, and piano-driven melody that is deserving of more worldwide attention.
