Bumbershoot, taking place in the heart of downtown Seattle over Labor Day, has dropped the lineup for this year, and oh boy is it a doozy. Featuring Seattle’s very own Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, the lineup also boasts Death Cab for CutieKygo, Porter Robinson, and Bryson Tiller, which alone warrant the price of admission. The festival will also include mainstays in the global music scene such as Pretty Lights, Zeds Dead, Tame Impala, and DJ Snake, among others. Bumbershoot, long known to be Seattle’s longest running festival, has really brought it this year, after what many (myself included) thought had somewhat of a downturn last year.

Also included among the ridiculously stacked music lineup is the comedy show, featuring the likes of Ron Funches and The Goddamn Comedy Jam. Many laughs are promised throughout what is shaping up to be a legendary weekend in Seattle Center. With the insane music lineup, as well as the comedy and food trucks promised, Bumbershoot has officially made it’s way onto my list for festival season this summer, and I couldn’t be happier.

Tickets for the festival are still available over at the Bumbershoot website, but word on the street is that this festival WILL sell out very soon, so get them while you can. (Easier said than done with this festival season hitting everyone right in the wallet.)
