In this latest installment of the feud between Drake and Meek Mill, the latter dropped a remix of Drake’s “Summer Sixteen” titled “Trap Vibes.” The first verse of the new track is laid right on top of Drake’s beat but Meek switches it up in the second verse and samples  Desiigner’s “Panda.”

He doesn’t come out and name names in this new track, but then again who does anymore. The intro for the second verse has Meek exclaiming that “this [is] summer right here,” a shot at Drake’s claim that he’s on top. It’s impressive that in the midst of his personal issues, like being under house arrest and having a turbulent relationship status, Meek Mill can still drop a banger like “Trap Vibes.” We can only guess who else will retaliate in the wake of Drake calling out more than just Meek Mill in “Summer Sixteen.” If this is the standard that is being set, the only thing we can say for sure is that this is going to be a very good year for hip-hop.
