Deorro teamed up with Merengue all star and Grammy/Latin Grammy Award winning singer Elvis Crespo to produce “Bailar” and the result was spectacular.

Deorro is no stranger to the Latin world, and on his brief exit from the traditional electronic sphere, the West Covina native met up with Elvis Crespo to create an uptempo track with lots of Latin influence. The track has the signature Deorro electronic flavor to it, but features a 3-step salsa beat, lively horn riffs and Crespo’s flamboyant vocals that unite into a dance floor anthem where everyone wants to “bailar” until the break of dawn. There are a lot of reasons to love this track beyond its incorporation of Latin style with electronic technique. For me, getting an all Spanish track produced by two of my favorite Latino artists is a treat and a half. The lyrics are hilarious and true, “La noche comenzando y el whiskey calentando” meaning, “the night begins and the whiskey is heating up.” If that’s not how your night out begins, then you need to find a new club.

After bursting into the spotlight in 2014, Deorro has rapidly gained a massive following and is currently one of Spotify’s top 140 most streamed artists in the world. For both Crespo and Deorro, this track was “a nice change of pace and celebrates both artists Latino heritage.”
