Earlier this month, the iconic Southern California boutique festival dropped one of the most impressive line-ups of the 2016 festival season including Chet Faker, Grimes, Jamie XX, Four Tet, and Cashmere Cat. With the coming of the new year, Lightning In A Bottle also revised their entire website, adding some really unique features for their attendee’s to get to know the festival a little better. The masterminds behind the gathering featured an LIB timeline, highlighting it’s roots since 1999. “In preparation for Lightning in a Bottle 2016 we thought a lot about our early days and reflected on the hard work of all the folks who have contributed along the way. To stay connected to the roots of our incredible community and to offer those just getting to know LIB a look at the formative moments of our early years, here’s a recap of some of our most savored memories.” Check out theLightning In A Bottle timeline here In addition to theLightning In A Bottle timeline, the festival has also opened up its applications to become a participant in the festival! Applications include Marketplace Vendors, Lightning Team, Food Vendors, Art, presenter, and music applications. “At LIB, The Lightning Team is the name of our work-exchange program that gives participants an opportunity to help contribute their skills, knowledge and time in exchange for their entrance into the festival. Hundreds of LT members come out every year and work hand in hand with our crew to help make LIB come to life, and we wouldn’t be where we are today without these extraordinary members of our community.” Needless to say, we have already started planning our 2016Lightning In A Bottle experience, have you?
