Gryffin’s remix of Troye Sivan is everything we wanted and more

We might as well just call it a year, because I don’t know if we’ll come across another track as good as Gryffin’s remix of Troye Sivan’s “Youth.” The NYC-based dance trailblazer is on an absolute mission to make sure he’s the biggest artist of 2016, as he kicked off the year with a performance at SnowGlobe Music Festival before following that up with sold-out shows at The Roxy in Los Angeles and the Bowery Ballroom in New York. Just a few weeks later, the talented up-and-comer released his debut original, “Heading Home,” to great fanfare, and since then, the indie dance producer has been all over America on tour. This week, Gryffin got back into the release game with this incredible remix of Troye Sivan’s “Youth” that will knock your socks off. On the remix, Gryffin takes a step away from his traditional piano-driven productions in favor of a heavy synth emphasis, making for a more cinematic and melodic release. Check it out below and keep an eye on this indie-dance trailblazer in 2016.
