Hailing from Nashville, their sound is nothing to be taken lightly—duo Cherub, took to the stage on February 5th, at Terminal 5 in New York City, after two electrifying opening performances by Mike Floss, and Gibbz.

Also from Nashville, artist Mike Floss capitalizes on his natural instincts with creativity and unmatched lyrical prowess.  He performed songs such as Dopeboy Dreaming and Bonita, pertaining to his album Don’t Blame the Youth, which released in November of 2015.

After a successful Kickstarter campaign, singer and producer Mike Gibney, otherwise known as Gibbz, recently wrapped up his first album, Above Water, which will be coming out in March.  Two of its singles Stay for While and Higher Than I’ve Ever Been, have already premiered on Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist, reaching over 123k collective streams in one day as an independent release.

The two opening acts are currently hitting the road with Cherub on the second half of their East Coast tour…STILL DTF?, which began in the fall of 2015.

All of the artists brought their best to the main stage. This included trumpeter Spencer Ludwig, who made a special appearance to perform a solo piece during the show, as Cherub blasted New York City with their synth-pop sound.  The duo rounded up the eve with their popular single “Doses & Mimosas” as they sprayed the audience with champagne. Cheers to that!
