In just under a week, the Hollywood Palladium will be transformed by Paradise Garage, New York’s innovative dance establishment from 70s/80s that’s regarded as the greatest dance club of all time (Billboard). Even though it’s been closed for quite some time now, we luckily still have the opportunity to experience the music and vibes that it built a legacy off of at A Night At The Paradise Garage at the Hollywood Palladium next Saturday, December 19th.

Paradise Garage was home to several outstanding DJs, including the famed Larry Levan. Two others, Joey Llanos and David DePino, who also graced the garage decks, are maestros in their own right, and they’re going to be armed with an eclectic mix of classic house and disco floor fillers for their headlining set at the event. Check out their Paradise Garage mix to hear what they’re all about:

In addition to this rare west coast celebration of the Paradise Garage, the event is also a fundraiser for GMHC, an organization which fights the AIDS epidemic and uplift the lives of those affected, while it also promotes Good For You Records’ Paradise Garage: Inspirations compilation, which includes music from Frankie Knuckles, Louie Vega, and more who took inspiration from Paradise garage.
