After a long hiatus, duo Daniel Linton and John O’Brien reunited on stage as LA Riots and threw a fat reunion party at The Globe Theater on November 20th.

Formed on the 15th anniversary of the 1992 Los Angeles Riots, the group was originally named as reflection for their aggressive and rebellious sound. In ’09 O’Brien went solo and began producing a number of hit tracks while Linton reinvented a sound that melded techno, house, and drum n’ bass. After a long six years apart, they have decided it was time to get back together and create new music with their single, “Don’t You Dare”, which will drop tomorrow, November 30th. Their free event last week was one for the books, and we’re looking forward to the release of “Don’t You Dare”.
