British Mercury Music Prize and Ivor Novello nominees Everything Everything, known as “Britain’s best pop band” according to CLASH Magazine, plan to release their full length album, Get To Heaven,  in North America on February 26, 2016.

This highly anticipated full-length delivers experimentation and ambition rightfully where it belongs: back in pop music. With a heavy dose of wit and intelligence, thanks to this daring Manchester-based four-piece, “Get To Heaven” has been hailed as one of the most refreshing releases of the year by critics in Europe, and hopes to provide that very same breath of fresh air for music fans and critics in the States after its scheduled release. They will also release their official U.S. single, “Distant Past”, taken from Get To Heaven, on November 20th. Get To Heaven was produced by the legendary British producer Stuart Price  and will be released on Big Picnic Records/RED.

The video for “Distant Past” is here. It’s one of the most interesting, bizarre, videos I’ve seen in recent history. Short List puts the band this way, “They blend genuine weirdness with genuine pop genius like no band since Talking Heads”, and I think that helps sum up their music video. Who knew two cavemen fighting in a forest could be so interesting with pop music behind it? The video also cuts between the fighting and the band members singing in odd positions as well, it’s quite a video.

So, look out for Everything Everything’s full album release this coming February.
