It’s been a minute since we heard from Oliver HeldensHI-LO moniker, and by a minute, I mean just less than three weeks as the Dutch superstar has been hard on the grind making his alias known around the world. An outlet to sport his more bass-driven ideas, HI-LO has become a worldwide phenomenon with every release and even earned the first spot on Oliver Heldens’ own imprint, Heldeep Records. Now back with the Spinnin’ Records family by his side, the shuffling and production maestro puts forth the HI-LO edit of Heldens’ new original take on Da Hool’s “Meet Her At The Love Parade.”

The hardest part about interpreting Oliver Heldens’ HI-LO project is whether the sound is fit for the underground warehouse scene or the PLUR festival scene. The bass is always big enough for the main stage and Oliver Heldens has proven that on more than one occasion, but the elements are rough around the edges and have a hue similar to that of the 90s scene. Whether you think one way or the other, every track HI-LO has to his name leaves us with no other urge than to start moving our feet and losing our minds. Check out the HI-LO edit of Oliver Heldens & Da Hool’s “MHATLP” below and watch out for it’s release on Spinnin’ Records, September 28th.
