10 years is a long time. To help put it in perspective, Mariah Cariah’s “We Belong Together” topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 2005, Britney Spears took home her first Grammy for “Best Dance Recording” for her track, “Toxic,” the Backstreet Boys released their fifth studio album after a five-year break, and ID&T threw the first-ever Tomorrowland music festival. Since then, Tomorrowland has grown to become one of dance music’s premier festival destinations, as fans from around the world make the trek to Boom, Belgium to experience the magic of Tomorrow.

This year marked the 10th anniversary of the festival, and in true Tomorrowland fashion, there was nothing held back. Awe-inspiring stages housed some of dance music’s biggest and brightest stars like Martin Garrix, Hardwell, Tiesto, and more, for three nights of unbelievable music. To help those that weren’t able to attend Tomorrowland get a taste of the magic, Elite Daily has put together a short film that followed their writer through her musical journey of the festival. While the video, and the trip it seems, have their ups and downs, the two friends are ultimately partying under the lights of Tomorrowland, and having the time of their life.

You can peep the video below and check out the story from Elite Daily here. Tickets to TomorrowWorld are still available for purchase here.
