After much anticipation, the set times for Global Dance Festival 2015 have finally been released, and it is clear that we have a banger weekend ahead of us at Red Rocks Amphitheater! While the festival features some serious heavy hitters including Flosstradamus, Above & Beyond, Kaskade, Tiesto, and Benny Benassi, there are a few lesser-known artists that should definitely make it onto your schedule. With three different stages stacked with mind-blowing electronic music talent, Global Dance has provided a great opportunity to check out some incredible new artists in one of the best venues in the world. Before catching your favorite artists on the main stage, we encourage you to explore the rocks, get to know your fellow Global Dancers, and experience sounds like you’ve never heard before.

For all you dance music fans, I encourage you to start the weekend off right with the melodic sounds of Toyboy & Robin at the NRG stage. Starting at 7:00 pm, come find the Electric Sloth girls and warm up those dancing muscles with us! We’ll be rocking the matching tie dye at the front of the stage and we’d love to meet some fellow Sloths and Global Dancers!

James Egbert:

James Egbert, renowned Denver-based electro producer, is responsible for one of my favorite remixes of all time.  No other artist could possibly remix the legendary sounds of Earth, Wind, and Fire with such perfection while preserving the greatness of the original sound. James Egbert’s hard-hitting, complex electro sounds are the perfect complement to any disco anthem, including the celebrated sounds of “September.” Catch him Friday night on the NRG stage from 9:00-10:00 pm.

Milo & Otis:

If Above & Beyond is not the “Sun & Moon” to you, Global Dance is featuring another incredible act on the NRG stage. Milo & Otis have exploded on to the scene this year with their unique trap and bass sounds. The duo will be headlining the NRG stage, beginning at 11:00 pm on Friday night.

Slow Magic:

Global Dance has presented us with a few difficult decisions this year, one of which being where will we will find ourselves late Saturday night. On the NRG stage, Slow Magic will bring us his otherworldly trance sounds while sporting his famed electroluminescent mask. No one has seen his face. No one knows his real name. He claims to come from another world, arriving on this earth to be “everyone’s imaginary friend.” Make sure to check out Slow Magic’s new album How to Run Away out now on Downtown Records.

Terravita will follow Slow Magic, delivering the heavy drumstep and trap sounds of the evening. Every seasoned electronic music fan knows Kaskade and Datsik never disappoint, but GDF 2015 is a great time to discover a new favorite.

Colorado native Illenium has gained some serious momentum this year, with huge remixes such as ODESZA’s track Always This Late earning more than a million listens on SoundCloud. Make sure to catch him on the main stage Saturday night.

Having coined the style known as “Heaven Festival Trap,” Slander truly embodies an out-of-this world sound. Check out their recent collaboration with NGHTMRE on the Nuclear Bonds EP to get a taste of the slanderous sound that will take over the main stage Saturday night.

Hotel NATIV After Party:

Don’t let the dancing stop there! Global Dance Festival has paired with Hotel NATIV Denver to host an official after party in the chic Stereo Lounge, featuring headlining artists from the festival. One of Denver’s newest nightlife hubs, the underground lounge features excellent sound and lighting, as well as a glass ceiling which looks up into the hotel lobby allowing hotel guests to look down upon us Global Dancers with envy. This exclusive 21 + dance party is offered free of cover charge to all festival goers. For bottle service inquires, please contact Hotel NATIV at

As the parking lot dust settles, the rocks regain their natural reddish glow, and the night sky becomes silent, we will continue to revel in the excellence of Global Dance Festival at Hotel NATIV!
