Last week, we gave an event preview of what EDMbiz has to offer ahead of its fourth year. The EDC Week event is one where the greatest minds in EDM come together in a structured forum to give their insights into what is going on in the scene and how they can better its current stature. This week, EDMbiz has announced their speakers and panelists for 2015 that will the lifeblood of what occurs over the three-day event.

Again, Jason Bentley, Music Director of KCRW, will moderate, curate, and host the event where the keynote speakers have been tapped to be the President of Electronic Music at Live Nation, James Barton, and CEO of Zappos.com and Founder of Downtown Project, Tony Hsieh. Between the keynote speakers and panels, it seems that EDMbiz looks to go beyond just music but into technology and entrepreneurship as well. All of these fields overlap and have proven to become integral into the success of dance music to date. The Fourth Annual Artist Panel will include Krewella, 3LAU, and Hook n Sling, while artists Tommie Sunshine and Jono Grant of Above & Beyond will also be amongst the speakers at this year’s conference.

For those looking to take part in the pre-EDC festivities, attendees will be able to attend a run of shows with their badges that include Afrojack at Omnia for the Official EDMbiz Opening Night Party, Alesso at the Boulevard Pool for the Official EDMbiz Closing Night Party, and a ton of EDM heavyweights in between including Avicii, Duke Dumont, Showtek, and more. Badges are still available for EDMbiz 2015 here, and more panels, speakers, and parties are sure to be announced as we approach the event dates.
