Shipsomnia to Begin Voyage from Singapore in Early January, 2016 Elijah PantojaThursday, April 9, 2015CultureEventsNewsUpcoming Events0 Comments145 views After the wildly successful Holy Ship! series of cruise-based concerts took off in 2012, other groups have started their own on-the-sea concerts. Leaving from Singapore the promotional team behind the festival is none other than Singapore’s own Mad Fresh Events. The promoter is working with international members of the EDM promotional community who work on some of the most prestigious festivals around the world such as the UK’s Glastonbury as well, in order to ensure the success of the festival. The festival will take place on the Costa Victoria, a cruise ship that boasts 964 cabins in total, with 5 restaurants and 10 bars. The ship also houses a wellness center that includes a gym, treatment rooms, a sauna, 3 pools and a track. In terms of entertainment, the ship isn’t short of accommodations as it is home to a casino, shopping center, outdoor pool deck, library, and a two-level theater. So, not only will the cruise keep guests happy through the 5 day, 4 night trip travelling through Phuket and Langkawi, the ship is brimming with activities. In terms of music, the lineup has yet to be announced, though on the festival’s website they claim that over 30 DJs will be performing throughout the 5 days. You can expect a lineup announcement somewhere in the second quarter of this year. Though there is many more events put together by the festival for the duration of the cruise, we’ll let you discover the details on your own.
