It may be March, but Christmas seems to be coming early this year. In the snowless city by the bay, Outside Lands is breaking into the festival season with a powerful lineup for the 8th consecutive year.

Elton John, Mumford & Sons, and The Black Keys are approaching to the West coast to take over the city from August 7th through the 9th. San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park will be the venue hosting this popular festival.

Joining the headliners is an exciting smorgasbord of musical variation. Bands including the ever-rising Tame Impala, Milky Chance, and George Ezra will be complemented with the likes of Billy Idol and Wilco‘s unique sound. EDM acts from Porter Robinson to Odesza are balanced with the reggae vibes of Slightly Stoopid or hip hop’s chart-killer, Kendrick Lamar.

As always, in San Francisco spirit, the notoriously eco-friendly festival will be back with a plethora of recycling and advocation to reduce our carbon footprint as much as possible. Even though we all love the Earth, food is quite high up on that list as well, and Outside Lands is there to deliver. With a assortment of eateries to satisfy every pallet. Expect smiling faces all around. Be on the lookout for Cheese Lands, Choco Lands, Beer Lands, Wine Lands, and GastroMagic to provide a local taste of the area’s bountiful harvest.

Tickets go on sale March 26th at 10am PST. Go to their official site to grab a little slice of heaven.
