Just six short years after their debut album: ‘Cage The Elephant’, The Kentucky natives are one of the leading names in the business. Having already graced the most prestigious of stages in the desert heat of Indio, to the brisk air of Glastonbury, there seems to be No Rest For The Wicked. With set dates confirmed at Bottlerock and Forecastle, the music gods can guarantee no shortage of fantastic stage presence during this upcoming festival season. Lately, speculation of them taking a detour to the East coast have emerged in a supposed leak of Firefly’s lineup in mid June, but nothing has been set in stone by the band.

While Delaware is left scrounging the internet for rumors, Los Angeles can breathe easy knowing that Cage the Elephant will be here soon. Continuing with successful hit after successful hit, they have recently announced a Southern California tour, in which they’ll be hitting The Observatory (Feb. 4) and The Tower Theater (Feb. 5, 6) back to back to back. Expect this tiny venue, only seating 900, to host an incredible energy. Considering Cage The Elephant can effortlessly make a crowd of 50,000 reach euphoria, a dreamlike show will undoubtedly be witnessed on South Broadway Street. “Shake Me Down”, “Come a Little Closer”, and “Cigarette Daydreams” are just a few of their wildly popular songs that you should listen for this Friday.
