Converse Rubber Tracks, a music program out of the famed shoe company, and Moog, one of the greatest musical equipment companies to ever bless this earth, have teamed up to bring aspiring artists the chance to record in a studio with insanely good studio gear.

This once in a lifetime opportunity these companies are running is really nice to see in a world where the actual production of the music seems to be the least of the worries of some musicians.

DJ/Producer and Moog artist, Nick Hook, will be hand selecting the five lucky participants and will help them all along the way, with the Moog Model 15 (of course). For those of you who don’t know, the Moog Model 15 is a top of the line synthesizer that has been coveted since its arrival in 1973.

While this isn’t the first time that Converse Rubber Tracks has helped lesser known artists, having set up small studios all over the country for producers like these, they have never done it at this caliber. Seeing big companies do something like this for the music community is pretty heartwarming, and this seems to be only the beginning.

So if you live in New York, make music, and have nothing going on February 23-27, give it a shot, you may just be the next big thing.
