It’s not often you find talent in the EDM community where a producer and DJ also possess the skills to sing and write their own songs; but in this case, Alvin Risk is that rarity. “Venture” was released November 11th, hosting five songs from this multi-talent. Many people may not be directly familiar with Risk as he previously went under the name Telemetrik. His new identity is still submerging from the underground, and it won;t be long before he is headlining today’s biggest events. Although Risk is not yet on seen on “the big scale”, he has already collaborated with dubstep master, Skrillex, for large tracks such as “Try It Out”. Other collaborators include bass headed, big room electro house artists Designer Drugs, Example, Tittsworth and Jason Aalon Butler from LA based metal band Letlive.  In celebration of the “Venture” EP release, Alvin Risk held a Reddit AMA under the /r/music forum.

This EP has already been recognized by many popular people in today’s society, such as UFO abductee and author of “Fire In The Sky” Travis Walton, KCRW host Jason Bentley, art collective FriendsWithYou, innovative phone app Humin, Daniel Glass of Glassnote Records and even Giorgio Tsoukalos from Ancient Aliens.

Success is sure to follow for the talented newcomer. His songs have been released on some of the biggest albums leading the EDM movement today such as Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak Records, Skrillex’s OWSLA, Ministry of Sound and Memory LTD. Not only is the “Venture” EP an amazing feat to showcase all the talent Risk possesses, but he is giving it to his fans for free!
