Who would have ever thought that Central America would be the next hot destination for Electronic Music….

Well, the folks over at Disco Donnie & ShowPro are igniting the scene once again with their third installment of, The Day After Festival, this January 2015! Considering this ill be the third time that the Disco Donnie & ShowPro will throwing the largest festival in South America, and what better place to hold an event like this one than Panama City!

Panama More specifically, the venue for The Day After 2015 will be held at the Figali Plaza. Panama City’s premier venue for shows of all kind. With the initial headliner announcement along the lines of Oliver Heldens, DVBBS, Damian Lazarus & Tiësto, there is no doubt that this three day event will be the experience of a lifetime.

We have already given you the details regarding the event but we feel as though the lovely City of Panama deserves some love, as well.

Panama City: With so many jaw-dropping destinations to explore, Panama City is by far the most modern, cosmopolitan, and advanced city in Central America. Consider it the Dubai (see image above) of Central/South America (minus the oil sheiks). With a plethora of skyscrapers, numerous landmarks and destinations to visit, and of course a naturally rich culture filled with history and tradition – there is no reason why you shouldn’t make Panama City your next stop on your journey around the globe.

The Day After Festival is set for January 16-17-18, making it three days of pure excitement, and bliss with gorgeous Panamá City as your backdrop. This allows for plenty of time to explore everything and anything Panama has to offer.

In case you aren’t familiar, the country of Panama is located in the southern-portion of Central America in between Costa Rica and Colombia. Though the predominant language there is Spanish, the country is highly exposed to the outside world due to its convenient location. Panama is a metropolitan destination for paradise-like beaches, mountain landscapes, and getaway adventures. The beaches in Panama are like no others in the world, granting you access to both Caribbean and Pacific-style Beaches. Mountain ranges in the country are covered by tropical rain forests and beautiful landmarks, making every adventure a lovely surprise. The cities are also highly diversified, I would like to describe their culture as a unique blend of European & American settlement alongside Latin American customs.

Panama City is considered the “Metropolitan Capital” of Central America. It is one of the most populous destinations there. If there is one promise I can make, it is that as you that as soon as you step foot into the city, you will be astonished by it’s beauty.

Ever on the rise, here are a few things you’ll love about Panama City: The first being the Panama Canal that stretches fifty miles across the country and is of course the 8th Wonder of the World. People can easily get there either by taxi or public transportation to walk alongside the canal and gaze out towards the horizon, full tours are available but be ready to spend the day there. One of the most popular districts of the city is the historic Casco Viejo, which is Spanish for “old quarter.” There, tourists are able walk the streets and “plazas” of Casco Viejo, experiencing Panama City first hand. Located just a few miles away from the venue, one can easily make this their daily visit while attending The Day After festival. Another attraction that we recommend here at Electric Sloth is Panama City’s Calzada de Amador, or Amador Causeway, which runs two miles long and connects three different Panamanian islands to the mainland. 100% check this area of the city out, if you are attending this event. They Bay of Panama has tons of restaurants, bars, and vendors that consumers can explore. Shop until you drop and enjoy you’re time there; it’s miraculous.

Feel free to send us a message via social media for further information regarding the event, but if you do choose to attend, let me tell you that it will be an experience of a lifetime.
