It’s time to get “R E A L” with Le Youth. Wes James, better known as house and deep house artist, Le Youth continues his path of funky, fresh house tunes with his new track, “R E A L”.

Since his debut in 2012, Le Youth has made quite a name for himself, mixing classic 90’s R&B favorites with house and deep house music, appealing to millennials who dominate the EDM movement. Currently in Los Angeles, Le Youth brings us a savvy & cool new take on his latest track “R E A L,” borrowing vocals from once popular artist Brandy’s track, “I Wanna Be Down”.

His sound is definitely one all his own. We’ve heard deep house artists before with potential, but Le Youth may be our lead pick. In 2013, his remix of Cassie’s “Me & U” put Le Youth on the map, with “C O O L” racking up over 1.8 million plays on his Soundcloud. The music video for “C O O L” was released on April 9, 2013.  Although “C O O L” did not enter the Ultratop 50, it peaked at number 10 on the Flemish Ultratip chart, the top 100 songs which haven’t made the Ultratop 50; and, and was also selected by Nick Grimshaw as the record of the week on BBC Radio 1 July 22, 2013.

Since then, Le Youth has released tracks on major record labels. He also announced his North American and European Tour that began October 30 starting in Verboten New York and ends on November 22 at LA Gare 27 in Antwerp, Belguim.

This New Years Eve, we are lucky enough to be interviewing Le Youth at the SnowGlobe Music Festival in South Lake Tahoe, CA. We are sure his performance in this snow-filled wonderland, will not be one to miss!
