This past Saturday, The Guvernment was full of smiles and fans singing their hearts out as Toronto transformed into Tritonia.  The masterminds behind the hit singles, “Satellite,” “Electric Glow,” and “Colors” played for two high-energy hours that we didn’t want to end.  Tritonal is known for their melodic and uplifting progressive sound, and their set reflected exactly that.

Kicking things off with their “Don’t Give Up & Follow Me” mashup (Tritonal vs. Fedde Le Grande), they brought the volume north and kept it up there.  The duo dropped countless other mashups, including Audien’s edit of 3LAU’s “How You Love Hindsight,” amongst many of their own that were included in their 500K Giveaway Pack.

Taking the crowd on a journey down the rabbit hole as they do in their weekly Tritonia podcasts, Tritonal dropped a mixture of energetic bangers and songs that tug at the heartstrings, including the M35 remix of their latest hit, “Anchor,” and their remix of Zedd’s “Find You” – all of which were synchronized to visuals that they personally controlled over the course of their set.  Song lyrics were often featured on screen amongst bright motion graphics, allowing even new Tritonians to get in on the sing-a-long action.

While there was never a dull moment during the duo’s set, the crowd (triangles in hand, or formed with their hands) exploded when Tritonal dropped their mashup of “Reload You Out” by Tommy Trash vs. Bingo Players.  Drawing to the end of their set and final appearance at The Guvernment before it closes its doors, the ever-familiar “one more song!” chant took place.  Chad and Dave, of course still full of energy – dropped the Tritonal club mix of their passion-filled hit, “Now or Never,” sending the Tri-Torontonians off with a bang.
