Up-and-coming London artist Alexander Kotz known as Elderbrook released his latest video for his new single ‘Could’, directed by the New York based artist, Lauren Gregory. She’s created a truly unique stop motion animation using oil paintings she created of Elderbrook, all interspersing with each other to mimic his movements in-twined with elements of the song.

Could is an unassuming downtempo electronic track that creeps up on you.  Just as it feels like it’s working into a semi-explosive chorus, it recalls itself. This deep and funky track not only has a catchy melody, but a vocal delivery similar to Joe Newman of Alt-J.

Be sure to check out Elderbrook’s similar styled single “Rewinding” which will also be featured in his Simmer Down EP coming out on the Black Butter label November 24th.
