Last week marked the time the legendary Los Angles based producer CRNKN made his mark in the San Diego trap scene. Brought down by our friends over at White Rabbit Group to see Bro Safari’s Black Out Tour, we were eager to catch his set! Due to time constraints we weren’t able to see any other of the artists on the lineup (including Cory Enemy & Bro Safari) but we took advantage of the opportunity to see CRNKN throw down some steeze in San Diego.

One of our correspondent’s had a GoPro, and complied some nasty drops for the vide above. Keep in mind this footage is very raw when you check it out.

With Somewhere Loud’s huge LED to illuminate him CRNKN started off with Anna Lunoe’s “BDD” and transitioned it straight into trap! Let just say we couldn’t have been more stoked. After an unbelievable opening he played a bunch of Kendrick Lamar, Kayne West, 2 Chainz, and even more crazy hip-hop remixes. Dropping Bassnectar, RL Grime, Lorde, and even What So Not’s heavy metal EDC opener, the LA DJ/Producer was all over the map.

To top off the set he played us some unreleased Wave Racer, Knife Party & Jack U, as well as an epic remix to “Turn Down For What.” We know what you are thinking, we were thinking the same thing….

But it was awesome, check the video below. It’s worth it:
