In case you’ve been living under a rock for the last 4 months, Flume and Chet Faker are sort of a huge deal right now, and their song “Drop The Game” has been the forerunner for that stardom. Sweater Beats has taken this hit song and made it something all in his own. The buildup itself has all the qualities of the original song including Chet Faker’s beautiful vocals and a few Flume type samples, but once it drops you really see where Sweater Beats took control of this track. It has that majestic trap feel that was made just for you to embrace it and dance along side your fellow festival goers. I always look forward to what Sweater Beats might put out, and this track definitely kept me satisfied and then some.

You can catch Sweater Beats on his upcoming tour alongside Chance The Rapper, Travis Scott, Jason Derulo, and Young&Sick on the Verge Campus Fall tour (dates listed below). Also be sure to keep an eye out for Sweater Beats’ second EP titled “Cloud City” due this Fall via Huh, What, and Where.
