Known throughout Sydney, Australia’s house music scene for last several years, producer and DJ Tom Piper has now made a name for himself worldwide. He has ranked in the Sony ITM50 DJ Poll and has also achieved 4 ARIA chart hits and over 8 ARIA chart hit remixes; and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

Piper’s style is one all his own, divergent from any one genre of EDM. Starting out as a dedicated raver, Piper further involved himself in the electronic music scene through promoting. From there, he continued his journey by learning the ropes and then it was onto DJ’ing and producing. Although he is well known through the house scene, he often incorporates everything from Melbourne bounce, electro, garage disco to genre’s of heavier bass and wobbles. He has paired up with Tommy Trash for several songs including, “One More” and “Fuck to the Bass”, as well as collaborating with Jaguar Skills for the club banger “VYBLYF”, which is sure to be heard on many main stages soon.

Piper’s most recent release shows his multi-genre spin on the Ultra Music Record artist Chris Lake’s banger, “Squeak”.  Not only can you hear the Melbourne bounce influence in the beginning of the track; but, Piper then goes onto morph the tune with a trap-style breakdown in the latter end, giving the tune a full bodied sound that is sure to attract many types of electronic music listeners.

But wait, there’s more. His remix on the Australian release of “One Love” has landed him the number 24 spot on the Australian club chart.  Currently, Tom is working on the release of his next masterpiece, “You Don’t Know”, under Downright Music & Ministry of Sound Australia.
