The man, the myth, and the legend himself, Steve Aoki, has boarded the hype train leading up to the release of Neon Future, a two part album that has been in the works for some time now. According to the press release:

The first release will feature collaborations from Fall Out Boy, will.i.am, Empire of the Sun, Flux Pavilion, Bonnie McKee and Machine Gun Kelly, plus his recent #1 Hype Machine track with Wacka Flocka Flame “Rage The Night Away” thatreceived over 700,000 plays since posting on April 16. To celebrate the release of Neon Future Part 1STEVE AOKI will headline Madison Square Garden in New York City on Saturday, August 16.

Leading up to the fully live-streamed event in NY, Aoki will be touring the world to prepare. He’ll be travelling from Canada, to the US (where Electric Sloth will be catching up with him in Maryland), Turkey,  the Philippines, Japan, and many more destinations.

As many people know, if Aoki knows anything, it’s how to entertain an audience. With rafts, cake, and most importantly, new music, Aoki is geared up to take the world by storm. As mentioned earlier, Electric Sloth will be providing coverage at this Saturday’s stop at the SECU Arena in Towson, MD, where we are sure he’ll be ready to throw down along with Felix Cartal and Juicy J.
