This past Saturday Excision, Dirtyphonics, Eptic, CRNKN and ill Gates (*) invaded The Shrine to bring the Southern California crowd a night filled with heavy bass. With 150,000 watts of sound, the music was LOUD and created an amazing concert-going experience. The production team had an array of lasers, and lights to combine with Excision’s visual show The Executioner.

Unfortunately throughout the night, there were technical difficulties that paused the show for prolonged periods of time. Dirtyphonics performed a DJ set with only two of their members, but it was filled with Drum & Bass and dirty Trap tunes. They were a perfect opening for Excision and it really set the mood for his set.
In Excision‘s set the music stopped twice due to complications with The Executioner, but he went on to play an impressive set filled with Bass Music! Dubstep, Trap and Hardstyle were the main genres in his performance which had the crowd raging hard until the venue turned the lights on. The mixing was on point and it flowed perfectly.
At the end of the night people’s ears may be ringing, but they should have had a great time. It was a stellar show from start to finish with many good vibes throughout the night.
