This past weekend our San Diego Live Coverage Correspondents were fortunate enough to cover Kill The Noise at Fluxx Nightclub in the lovely city of San Diego, California.

KTN, who’s real name is Jake Stanczak, comes straight out of Rochester, NY. The New York native co-owns the label Slow Roast Records, with his bud DJ Craze. They are distributed by Fools Gold Records.

Kill the Noise has no problem in consistently destroying every set he throws down. I kept his live sets from EDC Las Vegas and Electric Zoo in New York on repeat days before the show, and I highly recommend you guys give these well composed KTN sets a listen; guaranteed good times.

His set consisted of genres ranging from DNB, Trap, and Dubstep, all the way to high-hitting energetic House! Starting off with some heavy drum and bass, Fluxx Nightclub’s circular set up and phenomenal sound system allowed for an exquisite musical experience. Following the DNB he dropped into heavy trap (the familiars: Ratchet bitch, Animals, Mash-it-up, Satisfaction (RL Grime Remix)). After smothering the crowd with heavy 808 and crispy high-hats, Mr. Stanczak left the trap scene for a bit and dropped into very high energy house.
