With HARD Day of the Dead just over one week away, the hype is building exponentially and it’s about to reach critical mass. The schedule was released this week, and as always, there are quite a bit of conflicting and unusual set times.

Starting off the first day on the Harder Stage is virtually unknown OWSLA artists Phuture Doom. They have a half hour set starting at 1:30, and they won’t be a set you would want to miss. Their self dubbed genre “Black Acid” combines elements from Acid House & Drum and Bass creating a sound complete unique to Day of the Dead.  Skrillex is to play his only solo LA show this year, and you can damn well expect some serious bass.  His last HARD performance featured his infamous ‘Mothership’ stage setup, so it will be interesting to see what he does this time around. EDM legend, Eric Prydz, is set to have a slightly earlier set time from 7:15-8:30, while Paper Diamond is stepping up to close out the HARDer stage on day 2. The Gaslamp Killer is poised to make his return to Hard Events next weekend after a nearly fatal scooter accident put him out of commission. The so called “Godfather Of House Music,” Gorgio Moroder, and newly disco-inducted dubstep pioneer, Skream, will have the Redbull Discotheque bumping on day 2 without a doubt.

The Halloween themed event is returning again to LA Historic Park for a second year in a row with a stacked lineup from artists all over the EDM spectrum. As long-time attendees of HARD events, the Electric Sloth Team can assure you that your experience will be full of surprises and, of course, some of the best performances in the industry.
