With Borgore releasing more and more trap singles, it’s very refreshing to see him go back to his roots of grimey, yet melodic dubstep. “Wayak” was originally created by Farid al Atrache as an easy listening Egyptian love song, but this cover puts a 21st century rage feel into it. The vocals are added by Dudu Tassa, an Israeli musician/singer/songwriter that has a beautiful tone to his voice (Even if you can’t understand the language he’s singing in). With Borgore‘s other most recent remix of “Mr. Postman” by the Marvellettes, will he be going in a direction of bringing back classics? If he does, he has the stamp of approval from Electric Sloth.
